A report from the state s record keeping authority has found the NSW Premier s office broke the law when documents were shredded amid accusations of pork barrelling.

The NSW Premier’s office has been cleared of breaching the state’s freedom of information act when it shredded documents relating to a $250 million grants scheme now at the centre of a pork-barrelling inquiry.
However, the Information and Privacy Commissioner did hand over its report on the matter to the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the State Archives and Records and Authority.
A senior member of Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s staff revealed to a parliamentary inquiry last year that she likely destroyed documents relating to the Premier’s approval of grants from the Stronger Communities fund.

The Punjab Land and Records Authority (PLRA) has set up ‘Land Record Centers’ at several diplomatic missions. The move is aimed at helping ex-pats in transferring their immovable properties without any hassle.
The facility is part of the Prime Minister’s grand e-Governance vision and is expected to help overseas Pakistanis in many countries once it is fully rolled out.
The plan includes development and deployment of a new system which will make transfers and other property related matters more transparent.
