This drawing represents the club house expected to be built by the Masonic lodges of several states, and will be located on several hundred acres that have been secured bordering Gull and Round Lakes near Brainerd. Each member in the Cinosam Club will have a lot of not more than 1/3 acre upon which one dwelling may be built.

County authorities, acting on a tip, raided a meth lab in Emily, arresting one man and seizing chemicals, equipment and drugs. Sgt. Neal Gaalswyk of the sheriff s office said “it was a significant amount of stuff.” Drug force agents said the lab, located in an apartment over the Log Cabin Bar, was one of the largest ever in the county.

With the ongoing lockdown, restaurants have started getting creative with how they serve their customers.
Big Buck Brewery in Gaylord has decided to set up several heated deer blinds on their patio along with two shanties.
“We do them in two-hour increments so that other people can get a chance to get in there and check them out,” said General Manager Ben Hammack. “We are offering our full menu.”
Customers are allowed to bring their own shanties to put in the parking lot in order to sit down and eat.
However, Hammack says it’s not an ideal situation. “As nice as these are, we all know the negative 20 degree weather is right around the corner, so hopefully we can get back inside here pretty quick.”

More than one-quarter of all the confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Crow Wing County since the beginning of the pandemic occurred in the last week.
The positive test results of nearly 600 county residents were counted this week by the Minnesota Department of Health. This coupled with 35 new hospitalizations since Nov. 5 demonstrates the accelerating community spread and its negative impacts witnessed across the state. All seven area counties, including Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Todd and Wadena, saw case numbers increase by triple digits this week.
Complications from the disease caused by the coronavirus led to the deaths of another five area residents: a Wadena resident in their early 70s, a Cass County resident in their early 80s, and Aitkin County and Mille Lacs County residents in their early 90s.
