LINCOLN HEIGHTS, Ohio â A 16-year-old and a 19-year-old were shot in Lincoln Heights while sitting in a vehicle Thursday evening, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff.
Deputies arrived at the 1100 block of Van Buren Avenue just after 5 p.m. for a reported auto accident, but they soon learned that shots had been fired in the area. Officers found the crash scene at the intersection of Van Buren and Leggett, where a silver Saturn Vue had been abandoned. Witnesses told police that three people had fled from the vehicle.

Both teenagers are recovering at area hospitals. Friday s incident was the third shooting involving Tri-State teenagers in one week.

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio â Two teenagers were shot in Colerain Township Friday evening, according to police.
Officers responded to the reported shooting at the 2400 block of Wilson Avenue just after 8 p.m. and found the two teens shot.
Colerain Township Police spokesperson Jim Love said shots were fired into a residence where the victims were struck.
Crews transported the victims to area hospitals, and they are expected to recover, according to Colerain Police.
