Pakistan’s Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that it was time for India and Pakistan to “bury the past and move forward” India cannot accept terrorism or it cannot accept that in any way legitimate as diplomacy or as any other aspect of statecraft, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday as he underlined that the recent agreement between the militaries of India and Pakistan on ceasefire is a “good step” but there are “obviously bigger issues”.

Issue relates to failure to extend financial help to former NSG commando
Telangana High Court on Thursday directed the State Principal Finance Secretary to appear before it on June 3 if the government fails to accord sanction of finance assistance assured to an injured National Security Guard commando K. Sriramulu.
The High Court, which had taken up a news report on the plight of the commando as PIL petition, took a serious note of government failing to fulfil the promise made to the commando. A division bench of Chief Justice Hima Kohli and Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy deplored the inaction of the State government over the assurance given to the commando who served the nation.

ABU DHABI: Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, arrived here on Sunday, met his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral economic cooperation and issues of mutual and regional interest.
Jaishankar tweeted, “Look forward to meeting FM @ABZayed. Look forward to our discussion.”
Interestingly, Jaishankar’s visit is in the midst of media reports of his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s visit to the United Arab Emirates that the Gulf emirate is holding back channel talks to resume talks between the two neighbors is.
