Consumers advised to get multiple quotes to avoid paying too much
A Perth plumbing and electrical company has been issued with a $6,600 infringement notice by Consumer Protection for breaking consumer laws related to unsolicited sales and initially refusing to refund a deposit.
In May 2021, a Canning Vale home owner contacted the company, which can’t be named, to fix a leak in a hot water pipe. A plumber attended and advised the consumer that, in order to fix the leak, the hot water system would need to be replaced as it wasn’t serviceable.

Mr Feisst refuses to cooperate to resolve a large number of complaints
A Perth man who offers air conditioning installations and repairs as well as custom-built vehicle trailers has been taking consumers’ money but fails to complete the work or supply any goods or services at all, triggering a public warning from Consumer Protection.
Kyle John Graham Feisst has attracted 28 consumer complaints since May 2017 but most have been received in recent months.
Mr Feisst’s air conditioning business name was de-registered in May 2020 but is now also being used by an unrelated legitimate company. He advertises his Canning Vale trailer business on Facebook Marketplace under the unregistered name of Wat4Now Customs, sometimes also known as Wot4now Customs.

People from Perth and Peel will be able to travel to Victoria without having to quarantine as of Monday night.
Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton declared Perth and the Peel region green zones under the government’s ‘traffic light’ travel permit system, which comes into effect at 11.59pm on Monday. People entering from a green zone still require a permit, which only takes a few minutes to complete on the Victorian government’s website.
