On Thursday, the studio s streaming service announced that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy would be reprising their roles as the Sanderson sisters. The film is scheduled to be released on Disney+ in 2022.

CNN, the new film will centre on three young women who accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern-day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.

Midler, 75, will play Winifred, Parker, 56, returns as Sarah, and Najimy, 64, reprises the role of Mary..The sequel will be directed by Anne Fletcher, taking over from Adam Shankman.
The film will see the three young women accidentally bring the sisters back to modern-day Salem, where they must quickly find a way of stopping the child-hungry witches.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are set to reunite for âHocus Pocus 2â, which will hit Disney Plus in 2022.
The three actresses starred in the 1993 fantasy comedy movie as the three Sanderson sisters â Winnie, Sarah, and Mary respectively â and it has now been confirmed they will don their witchy garb once again for a sequel to the Disney cult classic.
