The Great Season 2 actually confirmed?

Okay, now seriously @nicholashoult I’m going to get you this time…’ Viewers might have guessed it was coming, given the state of disarray Peter’s Russia is left in and all the questions that are left unanswered at the end of the first season.
The show will indeed be back for season two, huzzah! Speaking to
Decider, the show s executive producer Marian Macgowan revealed that they have six seasons mapped out for the show. She said: We believe there’s sufficient material to take us through until she is an old woman.

The showrunner, Tony McNamara, added: I mean we could tell it in four [seasons], we could probably tell it in three. I don’t really know. I think it’s also now I realise the characters are so great across the board – we have 12 great actors playing really great characters and that’s just good TV, so it does seem like there’s a lot to get out of them.

The Umbrella Academy left fans on a huge cliffhanger when it was revealed that despite the fact that the Hargreeves had managed to find their way back to the present day, things aren’t quite exactly how they left them.
For starters, there’s the little matter of the fact that both Sir Reginald Hargreeves and someone who looks an awful lot like Ben are alive and well. For another, there’s the shocking revelation that The Umbrella Academy isn’t just no more in fact, it seems as though it doesn’t even exist at all. In their place exists a mysterious crop of newcomers who call themselves The Sparrow Academy.

Netflix describes Marcus as the one who keeps the family together, “oozing confidence and leadership without ever having to raise his voice”. While “charming, chiseled, honest and virtuous”, Marcus is also “graceful but lethal, calculated but compassionate, [and] is as smart as he is strong”.

As we saw at the end of Season 3, in the newly altered timeline, Ben Hargreeves is alive and well. No longer a ghost, and without his old memories of his original siblings, the new Ben is said to be “not the sweet Ben we know and love” from Seasons 1 and 2.
