Mission Kids serves predominately low- to moderate-income families in San Francisco and provides bilingual early care and education in Spanish and English. More than 75 % of the enrolled families receive tuition subsidies.
Breed said that In addition to improving outcomes for young people, the availability of child care options, such as the new Mission Kids preschool, will be essential for families as San Francisco recovers from the pandemic and more parents and guardians return to work.
NORRISTOWN â A $9 million construction contract for a storage facility at the Montgomery County Department of Public Safetyâs emergency operations center was approved last week by Montgomery Countyâs elected officials.
The $9,086,011 agreement between the Montgomery County Department of Assets and Infrastructure and SJ Thomas Co. Inc., of Lansdowne, would cover âthe construction of a warehouse and garage facilityâ at the agencyâs headquarters in Eagleville.
The seven-figure listing was a âtotal lump sum price,â according to the contract award.

According to Kelly Cofransisco, Montgomery Countyâs director of communications, once completed, the warehouse would store several items including generators, personal protective equipment and sign boards and traffic equipment for mass evacuations.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA An anonymous reporting system and an approach that teaches everyone to be good bystanders is how Cabrini University is taking on sexual violence.
Cabrini s efforts to impede, address, and respond proactively to sexual violence have been recognized with a fourth Governor s It s On Us PA Grant.
To run from January 2021 through May 2022, the $30,000 award will support the University s goals to increase awareness of bystander intervention and prevention efforts and to engage student-athletes and student leaders in improving the campus culture regarding sexual violence.
