Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center continues its dedication to Airmen, Guardians and their families by partnering with Headquarters Air Force to deliver quality child care facilities across the enterprise.
Quality infrastructure enables quality care for military children while their parents serve our nation. AFIMSC primary subordinate units, the
Air Force Civil Engineer Center and Air Force Services Center, work together to provide safe and operational child care facilities at Air and Space Force installations.
“Installations are more than military sites, they are where our Airmen and Guardians live, train and work,” said Col. Dave Norton, AFCEC’s Facility Engineering Directorate deputy director. “We’re working with colleagues across the Air Force to deliver modern child care facilities that help balance the demands of the mission and family life.”

Hosted by the
Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, the annual conference is the Air Force’s premiere innovation forum for members of the installation and mission support community. It draws experts from the various Air and Space Force support core functions to address mission shortfalls and propose solutions.
Except for 2020, AFIMSC has held I-WEPTAC annually since 2017 to leverage the expertise of Airmen who form cross-functional teams called Mission Area Working Groups. MAWG team members study, develop and recommend courses of action for specific mission topics.
Those who attend the virtual event will see the four teams present Air Force senior leaders with their solutions to some of the Air and Space Force s most pressing Agile Combat Support challenges.
