UoM and CIM agree to collaborate
DUBAI, January 13, 2021 The University of Manchester (UoM) Middle East Centre in Dubai and The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) have signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) for a Strategic Talent Partnership. It will support professional Training & Development and networking across both professional communities in the region. Under the new agreement, the University and CIM will promote academic exchange and qualifications, higher and professional education, research, practice development and professional networking in the Middle East region. Both organisations will host networking events for University students and alumni, and CIM members, affiliates and students in the Middle East region. The agreement provides for mutual access to professional development courses and the University’s part-time master’s programmes for CIM Level 7 graduates, with preferred rates for CIM Certified Members.
SALARY AVERAGES BY MAJORS
The salary averages below are aggregated from responses to the First Destination Survey from the graduating classes of 2017, 2018, and 2019, based upon majors offered at the University at that time. Where program name changes occurred, such as Engineering Management changing to Construction Management, data was averaged together.
In order to provide a more accurate picture of starting salaries new graduates could expect when securing a professional position within their area of study, internship (with the exception of Architecture graduates pursuing a Master’s degree), non-professional, vastly inflated, and part-time wages were not used in determining the average starting salary.
