AUGUSTA, Maine Gov. Janet Mills on Friday submitted to the Maine Legislature a supplemental budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2021 and a biennial budget proposal for Fiscal Years 2022-2023 that focus on maintaining vital services and increasing savings without creating new programs.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Governor Mike Parson announced over $68 million in Federal Budget Stabilization Fund appropriations for infrastructure and capital improvement projects at Missouri’s public universities and State Technical College of Missouri.

Releasing these funds will help address major repairs and restore campus buildings to maintain a safe environment.

HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte released his budget proposal Thursday, following through on his campaign promises to try to reduce taxes and hold the line on state spending.
The proposal decreases general fund spending by $100 million over the biennium compared to the budget proposed two months ago by former Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock.
Unlike Bullock’s proposal, Gianforte’s plan does not rely on a transfer from the state’s Budget Stabilization Fund, meant to be used in cases of unforeseen changes in the state’s economy.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Universities throughout Missouri are getting $68 million in federal funding for infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
Governor Mike Parson made the announcement during a briefing on Wednesday, January 6.
Southeast Missouri State University is slated to receive $4,094,371 from the Federal Budget Stabilization Fund.
According to the University, in 2019 it completed a Utility Tunnel Assessment as well as a Campus Integrated Energy Master Plan. Both the Tunnel Assessment and the Energy Master Plan identified repairs that were needed, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and IT services.
