JNS.org – Utah has become the latest US state to pass legislation targeting the anti-Israel BDS movement.
The bill sponsored by Utah State Sen. Daniel Hemmert and State Rep. Joel Ferry, known as the Anti-Boycott Israel Amendments, prohibits a government entity from contracting with a person that boycotts the State of Israel.
The legislation was welcomed by Christians United for Israel (CUFI), which supported the measure.
“I believe the passage of S.B. 186 is essential to demonstrate Utah’s continued support of Israel’s rights as a nation to engage in free trade without the unwarranted attempts to do damage to its economy. Israel is the US’s best friend in the region and we should stand with her as opportunities allow,” said CUFI Utah State Director Craig McCune, senior pastor at New Creation Church in the city of Sandy.
“I thought well, you have a broker’s license, just be your own brokerage,” Farley said.
She has also become a key voice for the real estate professionals in San Diego as president of the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors – the first black woman to head the organization.
Active in the New Creation Church of San Diego, Farley also is a deeply religious person as evidenced by the name of her real estate business.
“Corban means a gift consecrated to God. For me, that was my mantra, that everything that happened would be contracted to God,” Farley said. “God always sees about me, he definitely sees about me.”

CALUMET On Thursday, January 7, 2021, Theodore Nedward Rouse, loving husband, father of four children and beloved pastor, went to meet Jesus at the age of 68.
Theodore was born on November 1, 1952, in Calumet to Bernard and Eleanor (Picard) Rouse. He attended MATC in Milwaukee, where he met and married his wife, Doreen Mary Corbine. They were young and in love and they were married at the ages of 18 and 19 years old.
After having two daughters, Theodore felt the call of God on his life and he attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1981. He then went into full time ministry, became an associate Pastor, began traveling in tent evangelism ministry and soon settled down to plant a church in Ironwood. Three years later in 1987, with three children and a fourth on the way, he moved back to Milwaukee and planted and pastored Faith’s Creation Church for over 33 years.
