However, it looks like the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike ( BBMP) is working differently from other government departments when it comes to assigning responsibilities to the engineers. As per the norms, an engineer is assigned to look after a particular ward or a particular work but the BBMP has assigned a mechanical engineer three posts at its transport department apart from allowing him to work as an executive engineer at its multi-purpose engineering department.
