Rev. David Liscomb
CRYSTAL FALLS Rev. David McCall Liscomb of Crystal Falls, passed away at the age of 88 on April 6, 2021, in Glendale, Ariz. after gallantly battling a long, debilitating illness. David knew “whose he was and where he was going” and passed from this earth with grace and peace to the arms of his Lord.
David was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Romeo, Mich. to Leroy Louis and Ellen Blanche Liscomb and attended schools in Romeo. On Oct. 15, 1955, he married Arlene Steffen of Centerline, Mich. Together, they raised four children. Rev. Liscomb was a charter graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. where he earned a bachelor of arts degree, and a master of divinity degree from Bexley Hall, the Divinity School of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

The Dickinson-Iron District Health Department will offer another round of scheduling next week for residents age 18 and older who want the COVID-19 vaccine.
Scheduling for both counties will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, both online through a link posted on didhd.org and by calling 906-774-1868 for Dickinson County and 906-265-9913 for Iron County.
Appointments can be made in either county but are limited to residents of Dickinson and Iron counties only; a photo ID will be required to verify residency.
Dickinson County will administer the Moderna vaccine Friday and the Pfizer vaccine on Thursday, April 22. Iron County will offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine which requires only one shot Friday and the Pfizer vaccine Thursday, April 22.

The Nash Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Crystal Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

A 60-year-old from West Nipissing has been charged with criminal harassment following an incident in Crystal Falls last month.
Members of the Nipissing West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police had investigated an ongoing neighbour dispute at a residence on Dubuc Road on March 27 at 10:12 a.m.
