Josh joined the Division in 2006 as a classroom teacher and currently serves as a Vice Principal at Riverstone Public School. He had the opportunity to serve as a Vice Principal at Hillside Community School for four years from 2016 to 2020 and looks forward to returning to the Hillside community again.
Josh earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and a Masters in Education with a focus on Instructional Leadership, Indigenous Studies and Educational Research from the University of Calgary.
Josh’s educational leadership philosophy is: “It is imperative that a school environment fosters the needs of each individual student through the creation of a culture that is safe and inclusive to everyone. Authentic, engaging learning experiences are necessary in order to mould the creativity and passionate drive we wish to see in our students.”

The police in Gauteng have linked a man in police custody to nearly 60 rape cases in Ekurhuleni.

National police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the team, which was established in 2018 to search for the suspect, made a breakthrough arrest on March 17.
“Following his arrest, a DNA report has linked the suspect in police custody to these rape cases which were reported as far back as 2012 in various policing precincts including Batho, Crystal Park, Daveyton, Etwatwa and Putfontein police stations.
“Since his arrest, several victims have come forward with additional information to assist the team’s investigations,” says Mathe.

Johannesburg - Police have confirmed that DNA testing has linked a man, in police custody, to at least 100 rape cases, some dating as far back as 2012.
National SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Vish Naidoo said the suspect has already been linked to about 60 cases of rape in the Ekurhuleni Central District in Gauteng.
âFollowing his arrest, a DNA report has linked the suspect in police custody to these rape cases which were reported as far back as 2012 in various policing precincts including Batho, Crystal Park, Daveyton, Etwatwa and Putfontein police stations,â Naidoo said.
