This spring, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) completed its analysis of the Marble wetlands site and determined that contaminant levels in the material are within the range considered to be non-threatening to human health for a day-use recreation site.

MANITOU SPRINGS â The Manitou Springs Police Department is investigating vandalism at the Crystal Valley Cemetery.
A statement from the city said crews found more than 50 monuments and gravesites had been toppled or broken. Large amounts of trash and a small burn area were also found in the cemetery.
Crews are working to restore the cemetery and the Parks and Recreation Dept. will be contacting the families and plot owners whose loved one s gravesites were damaged, the statement said.
âIt is disheartening to see such disregard and damage towards the memories of our communityâs loved ones,â Interim Chief of Police Bill Otto said. âWe have heightened our patrols around the Cemetery and are urging anybody with information to anonymously contact that Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, where they could receive a cash reward.â

Her program includes Beethovenâs Piano Sonata No. 7 in D Major, Opus 10, No. 3; Poulencâs 10 Improvisations; and Prokofievâs Piano Sonata No. 7 in B-flat Major, Opus 83.
A native of Seoul, Korea, Kim won top honors in both the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra Competition and Chung-Ang University Competition. She currently teaches at the University of Michigan, where she is pursuing her doctor of musical arts degree.
She also was a finalist in Elkhartâs 2019 Robert B. Beardsley Piano Prize Competition presented by Ruthmere Museum.

Portland-based shoegaze band Crystal Canyon released the album “Yours With Affection and Sorrow” in January. The album was recorded and mixed at Acadia Studios in Portland by Todd Hutchisen and was mastered by Pat Keane.
The band is Lynda Mandolyn on vocals and guitar, Todd Hutchisen on guitar and vocals, Jeremy Smith on bass, Nate Manning on drums and Hayes Porterfield on drums.
“Luminous” is the latest single, and the video for it was released on May 6.
