YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Local clinics have been inundated with calls from patients wanting and needing the COVID-19 vaccine, but right now, health professionals can t get enough vaccine to meet the demand.
Sunset Health CEO David Rogers said the clinic receives about 4,000-5,000 calls a day to it s main line. All of those people want to know when they can get the vaccine?
Over the next three days Sunset Health will continue inoculating it s patients. It has enough shots for 550 people. All of those people

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - As the Cardwell Trial continues, a forensic pathologist who reviewed Celine Carreno s autopsy said an accidental death can t be ruled out.
Jared Cardwell faces murder charges in connection with Celine s death. He was the toddler s stepfather.
Dr. Evan Matshes is a pediatric forensic pathologist. Thursday he told the courtroom, when reviewing autopsies, a series of questions must be asked. He said in his line of work, doctors can t immediately determine abuse in a home.
When reviewing Celine s autopsy, he said, he had to ask himself could her subdural hemorrhage have been caused by a short fall on a playground or stairs?
Chicanos Por La Causa offers free COVID tests

San Luis, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) is offering free walk-up COVID-19 testing, to help do it s part in stopping the spread of the virus.
The non-profit organization is conducting the tests at the CPLC Early Childhood Development Center on 649 9th Avenue in San Luis.
The tests are by walk-up only and no appointment is necessary. It is also free of charge with a 48-hour turnaround for results.
CPLC began the free testing Thursday, and runs until Friday evening at 5.
These COVID-19 tests are conducted with a nasal swab.
