Ronald Knightner, 35, was shot about 3:30 a.m. at Crystal Tower Apartments on Noble Road near Terrace Road. Officials at this point do not know where Knightner lived, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner. Officers received a call that Knightner was shot and discovered him lying in the first-floor hallway, East Cleveland police Chief Scott Gardner said.
