Aadhaar helps 18-year-old mentally-challenged man reunite with family after gap of 10 years
An 18-year-old man suffering from mental health issues, who had gone missing at the age of eight from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and started living in Nagpur, was reunited with his family with the help of his Aadhaar details. Before he went missing in 2011, his family members had got his Aadhaar registration done.
The man was handed over to his biological parents on June 30, said Samarth Damle, who looked after him all these years as a family member. Damle used to run an orphanage at Panchsheel Nagar in Nagpur, which was closed down in 2015.

Rajkot: Rajkot Taluka police station on Thursday booked six persons in connection with a suicide of a 24-year-old woman who ended her life by consuming poisonous substance on December 7 in Rajkot city.
According to police, Anil Sagathiya, 23, a resident of Panchsheel Nagar in Rajkot, lodged a complaint against his elder uncle Jayanti Sagathia and his five sons Piyush, Rajesh, Kirit, Ketan and Chhagan for abetment of suicide of his sister Anjali Sagathia.
“Anil’s father Prakash and Jayanti are brothers and they had been at loggerhead over an ancestral property. After Prakash passed away, Jayanti and his sons were not willing to share the property with Anil and his sister. In the first week of December, there was major quarrel between the two families and Anil then lodged a complaint against Jayanti and his sons. Cops briefly arrested them in the case which angered them and began fresh quarrel with Anil and his sister Anjali on December 6. Tired over the endless squabbling,
