Watch: Isle of Wight 2021 election candidates filmed by media students Students from Isle of Wight College and Platform One gain valuable experience filming and editing these short videos of 2021 council election candidates Students from the Isle of Wight College and Platform One, College of Music have been working alongside People Media Productions to film very short messages from candidates standing at the Island’s local elections on Thursday 6th May. Prospective candidates from each party were invited last week to the AAA Live studio in Merstone to deliver the essence of their vision for the Island over the coming years. The punchy videos (see below) are being shared widely across social media and the studios are run by Technical Director at AAA Live, Martin Hall.

Isle of Wight Radio 3:00pm - 7:00pm Live and Local Podcast - Supporting Live Local Music On The Isle Of Wight Princess Royal Joins Cowes Enterprise College Students For Sailing Celebration By Jamie White Students at Cowes Enterprise College Sixth Form, sponsored by Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT), were honoured to be joined by The Princess Royal as part of the Royal Yacht Squadron’s (RYS) Youth Race Training event. During the visit on Wednesday, 14 April, Princess Anne spoke with students about their experience and interest in sailing. Year 12 A-level students Esha Mujtaba, Sneha Sanyal and Kristian Schafer joined an array of instructors to experience the Royal Yacht Squadron’s J70 fleet and received one-to-one tuition from RYS volunteers.
