A DRIVER sped through a red light and then tore down the A13 at 120mph in a bid to escape police. Muhammad Choudhury has been spared jail after he crashed an Audi A3 following a high speed chase in the middle of the night. The 20-year-old had been carrying three passengers in his car when police clocked him going through a red light near the A13 in Pitsea on July 13 last year. The police switched on their blues and twos and gave chase. but Choudhury sped up in a bid to escape. He then travelled at 110 to 120 mph down the London-bound carriageway, often weaving in and out of other cars.
