Hungarians Can Travel to Croatia with Covid Certificate
Hungary has agreed with Croatia to mutually recognise immunity certificates allowing holders unrestricted travel between the two countries, the foreign minister said on Facebook on Wednesday.
Under an agreement reached earlier that day, “Hungarian nationals who have been vaccinated can travel to Croatia with no obligation to isolate or get tested,” Péter Szijjártó said.
The technical details will be posted on the Hungarian Foreign Ministry’s Consular Service website during the week, he said.

Hungary has officially complained to Berlin over the firing of a Hungarian goalkeeping coach after comments regarding same-sex adoptions, immigration, and what he called an intolerance of conservative views.
Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin announced Zsolt Petry s firing on April 6, saying the trainer s remarks to a Hungarian newspaper did not reflect the team s values of diversity and tolerance.
An aide to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also publicly blasted the German club s move as outrageous, equating it with totalitarian rule in Nazi Germany.

BUDAPEST/BERLIN, April 8 (Reuters) - A top aide to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called into question Germany s democratic standards on Thursday after a German football club sacked a Hungarian coach for expressing anti-immigrant and anti-LGBT views. Expressing your opinion cannot be punished under the rule of law, Orban s chief of staff Gergely Gulyas told a press briefing. I think this is outrageous, it is foremost Germany that has to answer whether it still upholds the rule of law.
