Cambodia and Hungary have agreed to further boost economic and tourism ties, while the private sector offers a rosy view of the EU country as a hub for expanding exports to Europe.
The consensus was reached during a January 20 in-person technical meeting at the Ministry of Commerce on the first of the two-day First Session of the Cambodia-Hungary Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation.

The Budapest Government Office on Tuesday ordered a Hungarian publisher to place a disclaimer on books that display patterns of behavior that differ from traditional gender roles after the publisher released a collection of fairy tales featuring LGBT and non-white characters.
The office claimed that the Labrisz Lesbian Association, an advocacy group for lesbian, bisexual and transgender women, had committed dishonest commercial practices by failing to inform potential readers of the contents of its book, Wonderland is for Everyone. Consumers may thus unknowingly encounter content that goes beyond the usual content of fairy tales, and may decide to purchase the book on the basis of misleading information, the office argued.

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Co-chairs of the Mongolia-Hungary Joint Economic Commission, State Secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Jambaltseren and Istvan Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Joo Istvan, have had a virtual meeting. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Hungary Z.Batbayar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Mongolia Borbala Anna Obrusanszky, and other officials attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, the parties congratulated each other on the 70
th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries that fell last year and discussed at length cooperation between the governments of the two countries.
