BD air-force continues humanitarian aid amid pandemic

DHAKA, April 29, 2021 (BSS)- Bangladesh Air Force is continuing various humanitarian activities, including distribution of relief goods, free medical services and COVID-19 vaccine to the general people by different BAF Bases during COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion of Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Celebration of Golden Jubilee of Independence, Bangladesh Air Force is continuing such humanitarian activities with the direction of Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat as part of humanitarian responsibility, said an Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR) press release here today.
In line with this, relief materials were distributed among 500 needy and poor families of the adjacent areas of BAF Base Sheikh Hasina, Cox’s Bazar today, the release added.

Rajshahi MP Fazle Hossain airlifted from Rajshahi to Dhaka

Covid-19 infected Rajshahi MP Fazle Hossain Badsha was emergency transferred from Rajshahi to Dhaka on Thursday by MI-17 helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force, after deteriorating his physical condition.
Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
Bangladesh Air Force has always been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power to protect coronavirus and continuing various activities following the policy published by the government to affirm its commitment to meet all emergency needs in a professional manner.
