Daraz, the Alibaba-owned e-commerce platform, acquired all moveable and immoveable property of HungryNaki.

Mostahidal said that they entered into the food business to be one stop solution for customers in the e-commerce industry.
Daraz and HungryNaki will run as an independent Brand in the local market. All set up of HungryNaki will maintain its previous design. It is only a new journey of HunryNaki being part of Daraz, he added.

She said if awareness can be generated then people would opt for opening various types of insurance policies. For this purpose, huge publicity is urgently needed, she said.

Referring to a project of Tk 632 crore for the development of the country s insurance sector, she mentioned that the government in collaboration with the World Bank is implementing it to bring all insurance companies under automation.

DHAKA, Feb 25, 2021 (BSS) – The National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair 2021 will be held this year aiming at encouraging people to plant trees and conserve forest to increase the country’s green coverage.
The theme of the campaign and fair is ‘Mujib Barshe Angikar Kori, Shonar Bangla Gare Tuli’, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin told a preparatory inter-ministerial meeting at the Secretariat here today.
The meeting was arranged ahead of the World Environment Day and Environment Fair 2021 and the National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair 2021, said a ministry press release.

Criticising government officials for the delay in disposal of files, Planning Minister MA Mannan said, If you (govt officials) take salary and benefits, you have to work fast and on time .
The minister said this at a consultation meeting on the formulation of the new Annual Development Programme Preparation (ADP) held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center today.
Talking about the new formulation of ADP, the minister said, many may ask about the benefit of doing this. There may be disagreement over the government decision but you (govt officials) have to work for the disposal of files keeping their thoughts aside, he said.
