Comedian Brian Regan hasn’t performed at the Daytona Beach Bandshell before, but he’s looking forward to being there.
“I know it’s an outdoor venue,” he said in a phone interview Wednesday from his home in Las Vegas. “I looked at some pictures of it, it looks like a pretty interesting venue. … I had a special out on Netflix, which came out in February, and I might do a few jokes from that special, but I’m trying to work away from that and come up with some new stuff, and I’m enjoying that process and I hope the audience does as well.”
Big crowds and rip currents have kept beach officials and Daytona Beach police busy during the weekend. Bridges were closed for several hours Saturday.
