The restoration of the water system serving residents in Sandy Bay, Owia and Fancy continues to pose challenges to engineers at the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA).
Garth Saunders, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CWSA, said at a press briefing on June 2 that while all the other water storage and supply facilities had been fully restored following the series of eruptions of the La Soufriere volcano between April 9 and 22, the three systems feeding North Windward communities were still out of commission.
