Houstonians can expect approximately 10,000 shots a day to be administered at NRG Stadium, according to the Biden administration. NRG Stadium will be one of three mega sites in Texas including Fair Park in Dallas and AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Houston mega site is expected to launch during the week of February 22. These mass community sites will allow us to expand access to COVID-19 vaccinations in underserved communities and help us mitigate the spread of the virus, Governor Greg Abbott said about the plan.
