This was after the Western Visayas regional office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH-6) turned over the facility to the Provincial Government of Guimaras located at the Capitol complex in Jordan, the capital town of Guimaras.
“We really need this facility to help stop local transmission of COVID-19 in Guimaras. We can only do this if we isolate immediately the positive cases. This will also ease the burden of the provincial government in fighting COVID-19,” said Gov. Samuel Gumarin during the February 25 turnover ceremony.
