Mid-State Health Center receives GOFFER funding for food insecurity program
January 06, 2021PLYMOUTH Mid-State Health Center was honored to receive over $15,000 in GOFFER Funding through the state s COVID-19 Relief Fund. With this funding, Mid-State will be implementing a program in the beginning of the New Year to help ensure vulnerable populations are able to receive access to food resources in the case they are affected by COVID-19. Many of those in our community rely on local food banks and community resources to obtain their food, and once affected by the COVID-19 virus and required to quarantine, the resources that they commonly seek become inaccessible.

A Holiday Message To the Soldiers, Airmen and Civilian Employees of the New Hampshire National Guard:
As we take a much-earned pause to enjoy the holidays with our family and friends, I want to commend you for persevering through an extraordinary year.

Since March, more than 740 NH guardsmen have been on orders supporting COVID-19 relief operations across the state. At our busiest, we were supporting eight different lines of effort. Collectively, you did more than just your job, whether it was PPE distribution, testing, or lending a hand to the NH Food Bank. You played an invaluable role in protecting the health and safety of the citizens of New Hampshir
