Nowata Man Arrested After Officers Found Body In His Home The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Nowata Police Department in a homicide case. OSBI and police officers are gathered near the Casey s General Store on Highway 169. The OSBI said Nowata police officers responded to a call involving a car accident and a fight with an individual named Jacob Reid Edward Kimball around 8 a.m. Saturday. Kimball s infant child was with him at the Casey s General Store. Officers then went to Kimball s residence in Nowata to contact his family. When officers arrived at Kimball s residence, the body of a dead woman was discovered.

OSBI assisting Nowata police on Saturday morning homicide and last updated 2021-01-11 10:26:22-05 NOWATA, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Nowata Police Department with a homicide that happened Saturday morning. Nowata police responded to a general store just after 8:00 a.m., to a disturbance with a car accident and a fight with an person identified as Jacob Kimball. Kimball s infant was with him at the general store. When officers went to Kimball s residence to contact family, they discovered the body of a deceased female. Kimball was taken into custody and transported to the Nowata County Jail.
