Greeley Stampede Announces Park Music Stage Performers
Greeley Stampede organizers have just released the names of the artists scheduled to perform at the event’s Park Music Stage presented by TBK Bank.
As per reports from the Greeley Tribune, the Park Music Stage will offer free music and entertainment for Stampede visitors who will have access to check out national up-and-coming artists as well as see well known performers that are headlining the event’s concert series.

All performances at the Park Music Stage are included with park admission at no additional charge.

Longmont Ducklings Saved From Storm Drain
A second set of ducklings has had to be saved from a storm drain this week. This particular flock of ducklings was rescued in Longmont. On Monday, May 24 at around noon, the Longmont Emergency Communications Center was contacted about the trapped ducklings.
Longmont Fire Department was able to remove the grate and officers were able to retrieve a total of 11 ducklings near the 900 block of Hover. The mother duck and one of the siblings that was lucky enough to not slip through the storm drain.

After the successful rescue of the eleven ducklings, all thirteen ducks were relocated to another part of Longmont for their safety. Take a look at the photos provided by Longmont Fire, Police and Community Health and Resilience of the rescue.

Mile Hight CRE said that the 16,000-square-foot building on the corner of Harmony Road and Timberline Road was purchased by The Town Church of Fort Collins. In spring of 2020, it was on the market for $4 million. You can see the listing photos here.
The Town Church said that it will use the building to continue to serve our community in two ways: gathered worship of Jesus Christ and the continued home for Harmony School Christian Early Childhood Center, the building s current occupants, according to Mile High CRE.
The City of Fort Collins historical archives say that the Harmony School was built in the early 30s to serve the local farm families in the area, and it s different than any other school, because it is one of the few Art Deco style buildings in Fort Collins. It also ran on a farm schedule, meaning students had fall break during beet harvest.
Fort Collins Police Investigating Domestic Violence Homicide
A Fort Collins man was pronounced dead at a local hospital after police say he was shot in an apparent domestic violence incident late last week.
According to an official press release from the City of Fort Collins, Fort Collins Police Services responded to a residential shooting in the 1600 block of Sagewood Drive at about 4:30 a.m on Friday (May 21).
As per reports from the press release, the two individuals involved in the fatal incident lived in the home together. Police received information that verbal arguments and physical violence between the two had occurred between them overnight.

According to a Facebook post from Fort Collins Police Services, first responders were able to retrieve at least seven ducklings from a sewer drain Monday morning, stating that
fowl play is not suspected.
When they weren t responding to faulty smoke alarms in my apartment building this weekend (hey), Poudre Fire Authority had a busy few days of water rescues, retrieving eight stranded people from the Poudre River.
Last June, Poudre Fire Authority also did a swiftwater rescue for a dog.
