Wednesday’s new edition of AEW Dynamite drew 889,000 viewers on TNT, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.
It should be noted that this was the third Dynamite episode to air unopposed after WWE NXT made its move to Tuesday nights. Dynamite featured TNT Champion Darby Allin retaining over 10 in the main event plus AEW World Champion Kenny Omega’s first appearance since winning the Impact World Title, and the final build for Blood & Guts.

This AEW viewership is down 9.4% from last week’s show, which drew 1.219 viewers.

Dynamite ranked #2 on the Cable Top 150 this week with a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up 57% from last week’s show, which ranked #5 with a 0.28 rating in the key demo.

Week 78 of the Wednesday Night War saw WWE NXT defeat AEW Dynamite in viewership, but not in ratings in the key demo. This is the final head-to-head battle for the two brands as NXT is moving to Tuesdays beginning next week.
Wednesday’s new edition of Dynamite drew 688,000 total viewers on TNT, while the live “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” Night One edition of NXT drew 768,000 viewers on the USA Network, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.
It should be noted that Takeover also aired via the WWE Network on Peacock, offering no commercials. Viewership for Peacock is not available.
