NOIDA: Ahead of the nation-wide chakka-jam announced by farmer outfits on February 6, the Noida police has placed spiked barricades at both sides of the Chilla border and the DND Flyway.
Even as Chilla border became free on January 27 after 58-day long struggle, police deployment has not been withdrawn from the spot.
Although the Greater Noida police has said that farmers will not be allowed to enter Noida any more, the security arrangements including police tents have not been done away with.
Barricades with pointed spikes have been placed at both of the main Delhi-Noida borders days after the Delhi police placed iron nails, barbed fence and concrete barriers on the other borders with Delhi including Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur borders.

NOIDA: Farmers trying to enter Noida to join the protest will not be allowed to come into the city from now and they will only be allowed to move towards Ghazipur via Noida Extension, Gautam Budh Nagar police said on Friday.
Police in Greater Noida had placed barricades at Zero Point and Luharli toll plaza on Thursday night and stepped up vigil along the Yamuna Expressway.
The police said if the farmers travel through the expressway and parts of Gautam Budh Nagar, they will not be allowed to move towards Noida. They would be directed towards Ghazipur.
