In what is usually an uneventful period in college football, Florida saw an eventful Monday with the release of the much-awaited spring football special.
Labeled as bringing an inside look into operations of spring practice as a consolation prize for having no spring game, the premiere was the most football-oriented production since Florida pro day.
However, in the lull of football activities, the Florida coaching staff continues to make moves towards building the 2022 recruiting class.

Terrance Brooks has included the Florida Gators in his top five schools, he shared via Twitter on Saturday.
The Gators are joined by Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Oregon in Brooks top five schools.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound defensive back prospect originally received an offer from Florida in May 2020 from previous cornerbacks coach Torrian Gray. It wasn t long after newly-hired assistant Jules Montinar filled Gray s position when Brooks was re-offered by the Gators on March 19.

Wide receiver registration came and went at the Elite Underclassmen Camp in Orlando this past Sunday with West Orange (Fla.) wide receiver
Jayden Gibson nowhere to be found. He was on the roster for the event, which was hosted at his high school s stadium, but hadn t come through the gates by the time the final position groups took the field.
Gibson rushed home that morning from a track tournament in Jacksonville, and was able to make it to camp just in time to participate in athletic drills and face defensive backs in one-on-ones. Gibson was identifiable the moment he took the field, as his 6-foot-6 frame stood out among the wide receivers at the event.
