Wilson then allegedly fought with New Castle and Knightstown officers before being taken into custody.
Before being taken to the Henry County jail, the Muncie man was treated at Henry County Hospital, where he told emergency room personnel that his head had struck the truck’s roof and dash during the high-speed chase.
Wilson was charged Friday in Henry Circuit Court 2 with driving after a lifetime suspension, auto theft, criminal recklessness and two counts of resisting law enforcement.
He continued to be held on Friday under a $39,000 surety bond and a $2,750 cash bond.
According to state Department of Correction records, Wilson has been convicted of auto theft and, at least twice, driving after a lifetime suspension.
