The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the courtesy visit was part of activities to mark the first quarter meeting of CAN chairmen from the six state of Southwest as well as maiden meeting of the zonal Exco inaugurated in February.
Fayemi maintained that the Church play critical role in nation building, spiritual upliftment and giving the less privileged access to education.
He noted that his upbringing as a Catholic contributed to his moulding as a leader which began with service as an altar boy in his formative years.

The recent celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Anchor Borrowers Programme, ABP, in Kebbi State by the Federal Government spearheaded by the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr Godwin Emefiele, was a breath of fresh air. President Muhammadu Buhari must have gushed with joy by reason of the event witnessed by many governors and members of the international community.
A major component of the anniversary was the launch of the 2020 wet season harvest aggregation and 2021 dry season input distribution under the CBN-Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria, RIFAN, Anchor Borrowers Programme.
Reacting to the N10.6billion COVID-19 Vaccine transportation budget reported today, SERAP advised that it be executed with transparency and accountability because it is of public interest.
The government also earmarked N1.4billion for the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment while N373million was set aside to purchase Adverse Events Following Immunisation kits, otherwise known as AEFI kits.
