Elijah further revealed that there is a “new Boko Haram”, and this new terror outfit was primed to attack sensitive institutions especially the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, National assembly and the Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation, NNPC.
“There are new sets of Boko Haram terrorist that are mainly targeting some government establishments that include the central bank of Nigeria, National assembly, House of Representatives, and the Nigerian National petroleum cooperation”.

The Nigerian government has guaranteed the security of lives and property at the nation’s airports.
The Office of the National Security Adviser gave the assurance in response to reports that airports were under threat.
A statement by Z. M Usman, Head of Strategic Communication, said the internal correspondence that leaked to the press was a routine assessment.
Usman stressed that the memo was to ensure the preparedness of agencies was “and not meant for public dissemination”.
The official said in the period covered, threat analysis identified the need to advise Airports Management nationwide to upgrade existing security measures.
