Eid-EL-Fitr celebration: Police to provide security in all public places during sallah Published Niger State Police Command has assured the people of the state of sufficient deployment of personnel to the Eid-el praying ground, recreation centres, and other public places across the twenty-five (25) Local Government areas during the forthcoming Eid-el-fitr celebration in the state. The State Police in a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun said adequate security would be provided before, during and after the celebrations. The statement called on parents and guardians to caution their wards against any act of public disturbance such as youth restiveness, thuggery, sara-suka, yan-daba, horse-riding, and car drifting.
