John Riddick, from Bury St Edmunds, died in September 2020 at the age of 83. An inquest into Mr Riddick s death was opened on Friday at the Suffolk Coroner s Court in Ipswich. On the day of his death, the inquest heard that Mr Riddick had been walking in the Buttermarket car park in the centre of the town on September 10.
