Lettuce To Reunite For Two Nights In Colorado For Limited Capacity Shows

  GRAMMY-nominated funk-jazz-soul-hip-hop-psychedelic-jam-experimental titans Lettuce have announced their return after almost a year apart. The event will occur over two nights, totalling four shows from Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO on February 18th & 19th streaming exclusively on Mandolin. Viewers can expect fully-immersive, unique sets from each show inclusive of new unreleased music, no song repeats and fan-favorite classics. Viewers will have on-demand access for a full 48 hours following each live performance. This reunion comes as a result of the band getting back together to record new music, a follow up to both Resonate and Vibe. “We will be holding nothing back and extending every piece and fibre of our beings to make sure that this listening and visual experience is the best we have to offer in 2021,” shared Adam Deitch, founder and drummer. “We hope that everyone we have reached throughout the years is able to find the time to witness the grea

Magic of Lights The Magic of Lights Vail is open for one more weekend. Check out the beauty of winter with 500,000 lights strung around the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. (John-Ryan Lockman Special to the Daily) It’s the last weekend for the Magic of Lights Vail, a brand new attraction that fills the nights with fun and wonder after a great day on the slopes. Magic of Lights Vail is a walk-through display of colorful lights and winter-themed displays consisting of 500,000 lights along a half mile path throughout Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and the Lower Bench of Ford Park. The area is large enough to allow for social distancing and reservations are set so there’s a specific number of people allowed into the area at one time.

Garret Sayers, Nikki Glaspie, Nigel Hall announced as special guests for Robert Randolph residency at the Vilar Center

. The concerts are Jan. 14-16, with limited availability to protect guests and follow public health orders. The VPAC has announced that the special guests are Garret Sayers of The Motet; Nikki Glaspie of The Nth Power and Beyonce’s former drummer and Nigel Hall of Lettuce and the Warren Haynes Band. Robert Randolph s performance history shows his appreciation for mixing genres and collaborating with other musicians, which he will showcase at the Vilar Performing Arts Center. Special to the Daily Robert Randolph became an accomplished pedal steel guitarist, vocalist and songwriter through playing at his church. Robert Randolph and the Family Band released their label debut on Sony Masterworks, “Got Soul,” channeling the sounds of Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and Derek Trucks.
