The courthouse is a public building, and we wanted to have an opportunity to give people access to see things like the cupola, said Mark Leininger, county economic development director. This is a unique opportunity. This may be the only time in peoples lives when they can walk up to it and see it. We decided to put together some kind of an event for the public to be able to see what was done.
The new cupola and restored Lady Justice statue will be available for viewing in the parking lot, located on the south side of the courthouse, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. June 5-6.

The release notes the hotel and condo tower will rise 46 stories (it previously was reported at 42 floors), with the apartment building to stand 32 floors.
The site has been eyed for a tower since at least 2017, at which time locally based The Mainland Companies owned it.
Profits and sales soar at Boohoo Group
Profit before tax at Boohoo Group grew 35% to £125m in the year to 28 February 2021, despite “Covid-19 cost headwinds and significant investment in acquisitions”.
Adjusted EBITDA grew 37%, to £174m, in the period, compared to the year prior. Gross profit rose 42% to £945m.
Group revenues rocketed 41% to £1.7bn. This was a result of “strong” revenue growth across all geographies, with the UK up 39% and international up 44%. International revenue is now 46% of total, up from 45% the prior year.
