Family, WZEW confirm death of radio host Lee Ann Camp

Mobile-area radio personality Lee Ann Camp has died after a battle with cancer that started this fall, family members and co-workers confirmed on Monday.
Radio host Gene Murrell posted on the 92Zew Facebook page that Camp had passed on Monday morning while surrounded by family. “There are no words to express how much she will be missed,” he wrote.
Camp and her husband, Tim Camp, have long been fixtures at WZEW-FM 92.1, an independently owned Mobile station known for its eclectic Triple-A format. Both have filled a variety of positions on-air blocks at the station, including a morning show called TLC (Tim and Lee Ann Camp) featuring both. The couple’s children are 12 and 15.
