Want to help storm affected families? Here s how

Premium Content Subscriber only With families losing almost everything they own following the devastating Corindi storm, a charity is urging those keen on supporting them to make smart donations. Givit is working with Coffs Harbour City Council and local charities to ensure donated money and offers of goods and services end up where they are needed most, through a unique online portal. Support from the NSW Government ensures that every dollar that donated will be used to purchase exactly what is needed in disaster affected areas of the Coffs Coast.   Givit s NSW Manager Scott Barrett said residents currently need essential and everyday items such as toiletries, food and fuel vouchers which can be donated through their website.
