One farmer, Tim Jolly, a long-time opponent of wind farms, said this felt like another defeat. The permit allows for up to 64 new turbines over 14,000 acres in Bellflower and West Townships. Jolly, said he was first told by a county board member that he could not make a public comment on the matter Jolly was later was allowed to speak but only if he did not mention the wind farms.
