Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has tipped Josh Inglis to succeed Tim Paine behind the stumps at Test level.
The Western Australian keeper-batsman has been on fire playing for Leicestershire in the T20 Blast in England, scoring a competition-high 531 runs at a strike rate of 175.82.
The 26-year-oldâs dazzling performances in the T20 Blast resulted in a call up to replace Glenn Maxwell in the Warne-led London Spirit squad for the inaugural edition of The Hundred.

SENâs Whateley.
âHe just finished the T20 Blast in county cricket, which is the equivalent to our Big Bash, he was the only player to get two hundreds and he got another 90 and an 80.

Alex Carey will lead Australia in their one-day series opener against West Indies, becoming the nation’s 26th ODI captain.
Carey will serve as stand-in skipper on Wednesday (AEST), when injured opener Aaron Finch misses the first of three ODIs in Barbados.
Pat Cummins, who was appointed Australia’s sole vice-captain in the 50-over format ahead of Carey last year, would ordinarily have been elevated.
But Cummins is among the group of stars sitting out the tour because of biosecurity bubble fatigue.

Alex Carey will captain Australia in the first one-day international against the West Indies, Cricket Australia announced Tuesday, after Aaron Finch was ruled out through injury.
Finch re-aggravated a right knee injury during last week s fifth Twenty20 against the West Indies and Cricket Australia said his availability for the second and third ODIs will be assessed on a daily basis.

Sports Entertainment Network expands to Tasmania with three new stations
Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has launched across Tasmania, announcing three new radio signals and a local content strategy spearheaded by two homebred sporting heroes.
Locals can now tune into a localised version of the network, known as 1629SEN Hobart, on 1629 AM and the SEN app.
The network has also secured distribution for its SENTrack format to launch in northern Tasmanian towns Launceston and Devonport, which is available on 1611 AM and the SEN app.
SEN has also announced that Australian cricket captain Tim Paine and three-time Richmond premiership player Jack Riewoldt would help lead the Tasmanian station’s content strategy.
