Napier s Luke Glover is off to Palmerston North after succeeding in the Hawke s Bay round of the Raw Comedy Quest on Sunday.
There was a good turnout for the event at The Cabana in Napier, where James Fulton-Cameron of Palmerston North also qualified for the Palmerston North round of the Quest.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Lee Rd, Taradale, about 2.45pm on April 14.
A police spokeswoman said the exact circumstances of the crash are unclear , but the District Command Centre had advised a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
One ambulance attended the incident and transported the patient to Hawke s Bay Hospital.

Waterspouts have been spotted ripping through Napier amid large thunderstorms pummelling across the North Island.
Aimee Whiting noticed the waterspout - which is a water funnel resembling a tornado - from Emerson St in the town s CBD, calling it pretty crazy .
The wild wet water was due to a low-pressure system crossing the North Island, the MetService said.
Forecasters reported showers, squally thunderstorms and hail from the Tasman Sea was due to hit in the afternoon and would likely stick around until midnight.

Speaking on Mike Hosking s Breakfast show this morning, the tourism minister referred to Act Party MP Nicole McKee as a nutter after discussing her choice to knit in the House of Representatives on Monday.

I had such a lovely time recently hosting the Napier City Fashion on Parade event right in the heart of Napier.
A great section of fashion retailers took to the catwalk to showcase this season s new looks and our very own Adam Green strutted his stuff for the menswear brand, Barkers. I actually didn t recognise him looking so suave, such a change from what he turns up to host a radio show each morning!
