Israel Democracy Lies in Peril In Coming Vote

Israel Democracy Lies in Peril In Coming Vote And the danger lurks among the legal fraternity By CAROLINE GLICK, https://www.nysun.com/editorials/israel-democracy-lies-in-peril-in-coming-vote/91447/ In a week and a half, Israel’s polling stations will open and Israelis will elect their representatives to the Knesset for the fourth time in two years. While his consigliere takes aim at court, Netanyahu incites supporters ahead of trial

The three cases against him “barely belong in the Knesset Ethics Committee,” he argued in a monologue published by the free newspaper Israel Hayom. Therefore, less than 45 days before the election, it’s forbidden to allow a situation where only the prosecution’s testimony is heard, he said.
