88.1% of Nevada Belongs to Federal Government December 29, 2016 Obama’s latest outrageous land grab takes in 1.6 million acres in Utah and Nevada. The U.S. government now owns 88.1% of Nevada alone. Under Barack Obama, the Antiquities Act is used to steal land that the federal government is not allowed to own constitutionally. These federal government land grabs will never end until the people stand up and say it is to end. Only Marxists want the all-powerful government to own the land. This goes way beyond preservation. The unilateral power of the Antiquities Act really needs to be examined by the Supreme Court given what we now know a statist president can do with it.
