Victoria Homes, a Dublin-based housebuilder owned by Celtic Tiger builder Paddy Byrne, has resolved all outstanding issues with Lotus Investment Group that saw a receiver appointed over some of its assets.
Last May, funds linked to Lotus Investments Group, an Irish-based private equity firm for property and construction finance, appointed a receiver over certain assets of Victoria Homes and related company Ladywell Homes.
Lotus Investments Group is chaired by Israeli investor David Grin and counts Ian Lawlor as its managing director.
Myles Kirby, a managing partner at Kirby Healy Chartered Accountants, was appointed as the receiver for a single asset in Co Kildare owned by Victoria Homes. Kirby was also appointed receiver of the Corrybeg Way development of 16 homes near Templeogue.

It was January 13th 1922 and despite the ominous ring of that dateline, a lucky day for the Irish in Pentonville prison.
“You re free Paddy,” said a warder unsmilingly to each one and all 43 of them trooped out of their separate cells buoyant and happy.
Among them were two Mountmellick men who need no local introduction - Dick McEvoy of Clonaheen and Willie Hibbitts who lived at St. Joseph s Tce, Mountmellick.
This pair were together through thick and thin and their friendship grew stronger with the years.
Like their comrades they were new men as they left the prison on January 13th 1922, delighted that all had persevered in their fight for recognition as political prisoners.

A priest has reminded people there s absolutely no obligation to attend mass in person this Christmas.
Fr Paddy Byrne says priests and parishes have ensured that churches are safe for those who do attend - but that they wouldn t want anyone putting themselves at risk.
People are instead
being strongly encouraged to watch mass online if they can.
Churches and other places of worship will be open for Christmas mass, as part of the temporary easing of coronavirus restrictions.
However, capacity will be limited in churches due to the need for social distancing - with some parishes having introduced pre-booking and extra ceremonies to limit crowds.
